The series of mouthpieces of “cup type B” has a small cup volume - approx. 70% of „cup type P“. The Geomtrie was developed to offer a top all-round mouthpiece with an easy response for instruments with a small scale. The dimensions of this mouthpiece are in the range of the classic 6 1/2 A. This cup type is manufactured starting with a nominal diameter of 25.3 mm (B1), in 0.2 mm steps downwards, up to 24.9 mm (B3). This series is only manufactured with the small shank. The balanced cup geometry enables a very quick and direct response of the tone and excellent sound projection.
