flugelhorn cup type B
The series of mouthpieces of „cup type B“ for flugelhorn has a smaller cup volume - 73% of „cup type P“. The low mids in the frequency spectrum are addressed according to the larger scale length of the flugelhorn. They are manufactured to fit instruments with German shanks (D) and Yamaha shanks (Y). Starting with a nominal diameter of 17.4 mm (B0), these mouthpieces are manufactured in 0.1 mm increments down to 16.6 mm (B8). The well-balanced cup geometry enables a very quick and direct response and excellent sound projection.
